Better than money in the stock market. Up for sale is a restored 1968 split window Volkswagen Van Camper Bus Deluxe microbus version with pop up top! Custom Safari front pop out windows! Roof rack, with side step ladder! A lot has been invested in this build. Get tons of attention wherever I go with it. Has full deluxe trim with full opening pop up top. Full camping style interior! Seats folds down and makes a bed. Comes with mini fridge! and sink! These are extremely hard to find with this setup, most of them have your standard passenger seats. This bus has a full array of storage compartments as well built in.
Great collector's car or perfect to drive to the shows. The Body is very sane and has the original spot welds from factory. It was restored by the previous owner about 5 years ago. During that process it received all new mounts, new door seals, pop up safari windows, all new chrome pieces, new windows, new weather stripping, all new lights, bumpers, emblems, all new bolts and nuts all around. The bus has a splendid two tone Mint Green/white paint job clear finish all around, and sits on its factory wheels. Also has chrome window vents that were fully redone, most people who restore these just put regular windows in it. Check out my pictures so you can see all the detail that went into this VW Bus.
The camper style interior was done all new all around, sand blasted, and repainted. Look at the interior pictures. All upholstery is brand new, seats and panels etc. White headliner. All new chrome miscellaneous pieces through out the interior. Safari windows. Original factory vintage steering wheel was redone. Comes with Deluxe pop up top that opens up so you can stand comfortably inside.  Mini table that folds and fits in storage compartment. Rear seat is foldable for sleeping and turns into a bed.
This bus is in excellent condition and very comfortable & fun to drive. The body is straight as an arrow. All doors, trunk are all aligned like they should. Incredible amount of attention, and detail has been placed in this car. The engine is 1600 with single carburetor mounted to a 4-speed transmission. A lot of detail has been spent on the engine compartment. All new lines and gas tank. This Bus will definitely get lots of attention at the shows & question at the cars and coffee meets.
