Every previous owner including me has kept extensive records on the van. The chassis has ~260k miles on it but everything else has been replaced (more details below).
This van is mechanically probably the best van on the market, it is in top notch condition with over 00 spent in parts in the past year alone. It can hold freeway speeds all day. No expense has been spared to keep this van in top notch shape. It shifts smoothly and can hold freeway speeds all day.
I am selling because I need a 4x4 truck to satisfy my driving requirements these days. I am losing about 00 selling the van at this price but it is time for a new vehicle.
What’s so good about this van?
-BRAND NEW COMPLETE ENGINE REBUILD WITH ~100 MILES ON IT(miles keep getting added as I am driving it still every week). Rebuild includes new heads, pistons, liners, cam, bearings, seals, oil pump, oil cooler, connecting rods, pushrods, valve guides, lifters, hoses, clamps, distributer, spark plugs, fuel filter, muffler. The motor was built by Al’s VWShop and has a 12,000 mile warranty. I have a receipt with all the details. This job was over 00 on its own.
-New oil temperature gauge to soothe temperature worries(stock they did not come with this gauge)
    -New fuel and vac lines
-New clutch with ~1000 miles on it
-Sony Bluetooth Stereo (I have the original in box)
-New foam in the front seats (no tears!)
    -No rust around the windshield
-Bright LED halo headlights (I have the originals if you want)
-Diesel heater with 2L tank mounted under the van to keep you toasty all night
-GoWesty 50 ah accessory battery kit to keep the heater powered without worrying about draining the main battery
    -GoWesty sink chopping board
    -Custom cup holders
    -JBL speakers
    -Oil changes every 2,000 miles
-One key works on all the locks, spare included
    -Dual USB-A chargers
-Comes with tons of spare essentials that I have collected for maintaining the van in the future (bulk buy)
-Previous owner rebuilt the following and are less than 3 years old:
-The suspension with all new bushings, GoWesty springs, Koni shocks
-Suspension components fully bead blasted and re-coated for years of future trouble-free use.
-JP Group Dansk Calipers and Brembo rotors and pads
-Wheel bearings, tie rods, and boots.
-New radius rod and sway bar bushings
-New brake lines, clutch master and slave cylinders
    -Ball joints and CV joints
-Tires have about 15K miles on them on Carat Alloy wheels
-A complete rebuilt transmission was done by a previous owner, receipt is in the master folder for the van
    What about the camping setup?
    -
The camping kit is in amazing shape for its age with the ORIGINAL upholstery
-Cushions are perfect and all the curtains are present
    -All lights work
    -Ori
Dometic fridge is used regularly on all 3 modes, lights on propane with ease and cools to 30 degrees in no time. DC operation keeps it cool during travel and AC powercools it well before trips. Stove works great, Sure flo faucet installed along with all new fresh water lines and sink p-trap. Gowesty citywater hookup box added. New 3 window Tent from Busdepot with their matching poptop seals in excellent shape. Gowesty 3rd brake light added for safety.
    WhatIsn’t Perfect
-Body needs some love after years of travel, it has a few bumps and bruises as expected for something this old, no real rust on it however.
    -Windshield has a crack
-Small bondo booger on drivers door covering a ding, matching paint covers it well
-The paint has dings and chips and some mis-matching touchups from years of use. She has some character and still looks great for her agebut a new paint job would make her perfect.
