XR-750 Harley Davidson original oil tank

1975 Harley Davidson XR-750 Original Oil Tank. I am restoring an original XR and have replaced the oil tank with
a brand new one. This tank was sealed, cleaned in and out but should get a additional thorough internal cleaning. All pipe threads are good, mounts, neck, good. It has spring ware marks, some dings and even a 1" length of what looks like JB weld on a weld seam.
Even with the "RACE RASH" its not to bad and is worth repairing and using. This stuff is getting hard to find!   I think all the "HARLEY" built alloy engine bikes use this same tank # 62499-72R. Be looking at my ads for I will be selling of other original parts and spare parts. Thanks
