Ahuja currently serves as Chairman of Global Television Studios and President & Chief Operating Officer, overseeing day-to-day operations alongside Vinciquerra.
Since joining Sony Pictures in March 2021, Ahuja has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, managing all production businesses for Sony Pictures Television, which include US and international productions, as well as divisions focused on nonfiction, kids programming, and game shows.
Under his leadership, Sony Pictures has produced a wide range of acclaimed series, such as The Crown, The Boys, Gen V, Cobra Kai, Better Call Saul, The Last of Us, Outlander, and The Night Agent.
Ahuja has also spearheaded several key mergers and acquisitions for Sony, including the acquisition of Industrial Media, a leading nonfiction entertainment company; UK production house Bad Wolf; and visual effects company Pixomondo.
His strategic vision extended to selling GSN Mobile Games to Scopely.
Before joining Sony, Ahuja held high-profile roles at Walt Disney Television, including President of Business Operations and CFO, where he played a crucial part in merging Disney/ABC Television with Fox Networks following Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019.
His leadership also extended to overseeing finance, strategy, and business development for the Fox Networks Group, where he drove initiatives in streaming and new technologies, including guiding Hulu’s joint venture for over a decade.
Ahuja’s career also includes stints as CFO for Virgin Entertainment Group and work at McKinsey & Company and in investment banking. A graduate of The Wharton School, he holds both undergraduate and MBA degrees and recently joined the Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board.
